Overview

Where there is a fall risk, an employer is responsible to ensure that staff are trained on how to work safely and use the equipment according to manufacturer and WorkSafe best practice guidelines.

An ideal introduction to working at heights, this course is designed for learners who work from a fixed harness anchor point and require the knowledge and skills to do so safely. This course is an excellent option for learners who operate equipment that involves working at heights for example:

  • Mobile Elevated Work Platforms
  • High-Level Order Picker
  • Forklift Mounted Safety Platforms (Man Cage)
  • Any type of equipment that requires the working at heights from a fixed anchor point.

Please note that this course is not designed to for learners who are required to install horizontal or vertical temporary proprietary height safety systems, if this is required we recommend our 2 day Working at Heights Course.

Axiom Training can also offer the standalone harness unit standard (23229) as an onsite course option. Please contact us to discuss your options.
